Caravan Ingredients appoints supply chain manager

Advertisement Brad Pederson has joined Caravan Ingredients as supply chain manager. In this role, Pederson will manage the corporate demand planning and APS functions at Lenaxa, Kan.-based Caravan. He also will oversee best practice solutions regarding inventory optimization and lead the company through key company initiatives, including SKU optimization, collaborative planning and inventory optimization. Before joining Caravan, Pederson held various leadership roles with the Timken Co., including demand and inventory manager, supply chain continuous improvement specialist, principal engineer and senior product development engineer. "We are excited to welcome Brad to the Caravan Ingredients organization," Matt Kunz, vice president of supply chain for Caravan Ingredients, said in a press release. "Brad's professional leadership experience in inventory management, coupled with his impressive academic credentials, will help us deliver outstanding supply chain solutions for our valuable customers."
