The Retail Bakers of America has announced the educational session speakers for the RBA Roadshow, taking place Dec. 2 at Kendall College in Chicago.

The sessions run from 1 from 5 p.m. and will cover two education tracks: cake decorating/baking and business. The decorating classes include: "Low-Tech/High-Impact Sugar Work," with Michelle Boyd; "Internal Structure 101," with Pat Jacoby; "Cricut Cakes," with Fran Leon; and "Individual Desserts," with Heidi Hedecker.

The business classes include: "Bakery Opportunity: How to Reach Customers More Often," with Jonna Parker; "Pricing As Seen on TV Cakes for Profit," with Beth Fahey; "Guerrilla Marketing for the Small Bakery Owner," with Sue Tinnish; and "Qualifying the Sale: Those Crazy As Seen on TV Cakes."

In addition to education sessions, the RBA Roadshow also will feature bakery tours, a vendor showcase and evening networking event. Designed to bring bakers, cake decorators, vendors, students and educators together, this one-day event is the first of several regional educational programs planned by the RBA in the coming months.
